FreqEZ v2.2.0 Windows Console:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standard Windows setup program:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Download and unzip this ZIP archive. Then run the setup executable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>FreqEZ Windows Console:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/kk1l.com\/freqez\/FreqEZ_WinConsole_v220.zip\" title=\"\">FreqEZ WinConsole_v2.2.0.zip<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.  FreqEZ v2.2.0 Raspberry Pi Controller &#8211; Two methods:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Burn microSD Disk Method (RECOMMENDED):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A complete FreqEZ Controller software installation can be created using the Raspberry Pi organization&#8217;s Imager program ( https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/software\/ ) to burn this image file to a microSD card. The resulting microSD will contain both the Raspbian operating system and pre-configured FreqEZ RPi software. When finished, just insert the microSD card into the RPI and apply power. Step-by-step instructions can be found below and in the &#8220;Raspberry Pi Controller &#8211; Preparing the microSD Card&#8221; section of the documentation by clicking on Help in the v2.2.0 Windows Console or opening the on-line Help file in &gt;Downloads &gt;Version 2.2.0 &#8220;FreqEZhelp.dbf&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FreqEZ Installation Guide<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/software\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Raspberry Pi Imager<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 for creating the Raspbian operating system image to the microSD card. Follow instructions below<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch <strong>Raspberry Pi Imager<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>APP OPTIONS<\/strong> button at bottom of the window (the white button with the red outline)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Content Repository<\/strong>  choose Use custom URL\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>enter: <em><strong>https:\/\/freqez.kk1l.com\/imager.json<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>press <strong>APPLY &amp; RESTART<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>Device<\/strong> Setup step (should be already selected on left)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scroll to the very bottom and double-click <strong>No filtering<\/strong><br>(or select and press NEXT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-click&nbsp;<strong>FreqEZ Trixie Headless<\/strong> or Desktop&nbsp;at the top of the list<br>(or select and press NEXT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>storage device<\/strong> (microSD) to write<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For <strong>Customisation<\/strong> steps enter a hostname, locale, username, password, WiFi SSID, passphrase\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>hostname of <strong>ezcontroller-1<\/strong> is not a bad choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave &#8220;Capital city&#8221; as is&#8230;it does not matter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>username = ez, password=freqez is not a bad choice. It will automatically run as a service when you boot. <br>This loads a &#8220;headless&#8221; version of 64bit Debian &#8220;Trixie&#8221;&#8230;Raspbian v13.3.<br>The first boot will take a few minutes.
