The land is located only 10 minutes from my work and close to many of the activities that Laurie and the kids participate in often. The kids (and Laurie and I) are going to love it here.
We are leaving good friends behind in the Swanton and St. Albans area, but are close enough to visit regularly. Laurie will still have clients up there.
My amateur radio interests will be well served here too. There are no covenants and restrictions enacted, most trees are over 50 feet tall, and we own the ridge line that overlooks from 150 degrees around to 340 degrees with no obstructions 300 feet over the Winooski River valley. The exposure is reasonable over the rest of the compass rose.
For those of you interested in such detail the location is 44.471926N
73.024422W in grid FN34LL.
